Pierre Gasly knows better than most the twists and turns of a Formula 1 career.
The Frenchman made his F1 debut in 2017 in Malaysia, stepping in for Daniil Kvyat, and soon earned a full-time seat at Toro Rosso. Not long after, he was promoted to Red Bull, taking over from Daniel Ricciardo, showing from the start that he can seize opportunities both on and off the track.
Despite some strong performances in 2018, including an impressive fourth place in Bahrain, Gasly faced tough comparisons with teammate Max Verstappen and was sent back to Toro Rosso mid-season while Alex Albon took over at Red Bull.
Resilient and determined, Gasly bounced back. In the final nine races of the season, he scored key points and secured a second-place finish at the Brazilian Grand Prix, his best result at the time. In 2020, he claimed his first F1 victory at the Italian Grand Prix with AlphaTauri, and continued to deliver strong performances and podiums in 2021.
When AlphaTauri’s momentum slowed in 2022, Gasly made the move to Alpine, where he has already returned to the podium and continues to fight for every opportunity to shine. His goal remains clear: to stay competitive and prove his talent at the very top of Formula 1.
